At Momsie, your family's privacy is as important to us as your baby's first bite. Here is what we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
Momsie collects only the information you choose to provide — your baby's name, date of birth, your name, and a selected avatar. We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or payment information. If you enable notifications, we store a device push token to send you food reminders.
Your baby's date of birth is used to personalise food recommendations based on developmental stage. Your name is used to greet you in the app. We never use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Your profile information is stored on your device using secure local storage. If you connect to our cloud features, your data is stored on Supabase-managed infrastructure in the EU region, protected by industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit.
If you grant notification permission, we may send you weekly food-of-the-week alerts and age-relevant feeding tips. You can withdraw permission at any time through your device settings. We never use push tokens to identify or track you.
Momsie is designed for parents and caregivers. We do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. The information entered about your baby is stored solely to personalise your experience.
You can delete all stored data at any time by uninstalling the app, which clears all local storage. If you have cloud-synced data, contact us at [email protected] to request full deletion. You have the right to access, correct, or erase any personal data we hold.
Momsie uses Supabase for backend storage and Expo for app infrastructure. These services operate under their own privacy policies. We do not share identifiable data with any other third parties.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. When we make changes, we will update the version date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of Momsie after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
